Even when I see it I wont believe it.....how many boxers come out of retirement and fight again.....Mundine will fight in 2011 :deal
Mundine will announce his pre-meditated retirement , then announce he is coming back after a " 6 month hiatus'', heheheh..then come back and fight a nobody ,end up winning , and go on about how he is a real champ who came back against all odds from retirement and won.. It's called the Mundine style immitation of the Ali's and Leonards..
Saw it in the tea-leaves, and the more I think about it, the more it makes sense. *Is he 34 with prematurely worn out hips, knees and whatever else - yes. *Has he really got major ambitions ('world domination' etc) - no, not for a second. *Apart from Geale and his superannuation payout in Green II has there been/is there likely to be another anyway major opponent - no, and every time it seemed anyway likely it was just another mirage. Conclusion = Geale II, Green II, a few bums inbetween, and a timeframe of 2 years max.
Tend to agree....2 years....not 1 year as the thread says. I also think if the boxing gods are smiling on team Mundine, he will get another title shot that he can win in the next 16 months at MW...vacant or maybe the winner of the IBF.
No risen for Mundine to carry on, he is a 3 time world champion, dominated the world, why not call it a day :rofl:rofl:rofl
I have a dark sense of humor and probably should keep it to myself most of the times. Don't take me too seriously guys.
I don't to be honest Pecks on a regular basis, personally I find nothing funny about cancer - Flamengo fisting my mum, not a problem as is most things but that is just a bit much for me. Not having a crack just explaining my position
Fair enough Phil, I guess you're not a fan of South Park then. I'll leave that sorta stuff in the lounge from now on. I'll have to think up another way to get a rise out of Mundine fans. :think
Nah I love south park even though they have gone over the top occasionally, I spent most of my time pissing myself watching it. Politically correct I most definitely am not. My father in law who I love dearly is stricken as is a good friend of my wife's - my ex's mum also died of it and it sucks and wouldn't wish it on anyone. Anyway - off my soapbox: that Flamengo's a ****
Sorry to hear about all that Phil. Yeah, I love my South Park too. That and Curb are my favourite US comedies, and it's still going fairly strong too. Teke's a bigger ****. Someone needs to drag that **** back, cos I feel like unloading some abuse his way. :yep
Don't let it get to you Phil, I just went through a crap year with my father in law, AND a very good long term friend, both passing of cancer. Lost 2 great people within 2 months of each other. Cancer is really ****ed up, but don't let these tragedys get in the way of humour, which is all Pecks meant it as.
