A minutes silence for all those that gave so much during the Great Wars of the last century.They did it so we could enjoy our freedom and also our freedom of speech. I'm glad I live in a country where despite our differences we can express our thoughts and opinions no matter how much they antagonise you. Let this freedom never be taken away.

 

Choc is just an uneducated man as simple as that. If he knew anything about our history he would know that one of the few times us Aboriginals and other Australians were treated fairly early in this century was down in the trenches. There was no white or black ANZAC'z just people defending Australia. When they got back of course they went back to normal but that makes there even more reason to Remember those who sacrificed themselves for this country.

I know that I have plenty of family that fought in both world wars and Im sure Choc does as well. He should just try and think before he says silly things like this but that isn't his strong suit.

And all the lebo bashing I think needs to be toned down. Of course they have there share of f*ckwits especially some who seem to post on here. But I have grown up in Lakemba in the Canterbury Bankstown area my whole life and on the whole the f*ckwits are the minority. Australia has been built on and by migrants whether is be the first fleet down to the Sudanese. It takes time to adjust and melt into this pot that is Australia but that is what wil happen eventually. I myself am looking forward to when the Africans grow up and we start winniing Track and field gold medals lol.

Im not one who advocates war, i think war acheives nothing but remeberance day isnt about war!

In addition im also not a mundine hater by any stretch of the immagination (and the others on this forum can back me up on that) but if Mundine disrespects our (and I am proud to use the word "our" regardless of whether I was born overseas) veterans then he doesnt derserve our respect.

SO whichever species of cactus is up your arse, whether it is the fact that you cant get aussies to understand your muslim views, or you dont like certain laws here, or you'd rather this or that, I know for a FACT that you (or your ancestors) didnt migrate here to try and convert the country or change its laws -- you came here for a better life.
