You are 100% correct. Green is now fighting someone who reportedly has or had brain condition. the RJJ stunt was just that a stunt. Dont forget Roy was startched motionless way beforehand.

Green is starting to pick tomato cans.

    Dave Sands.....

    1. You have been a member of this forum for 3 years
    2. You have 17 posts
    3. Your caller ID says "Dave Sands" who is the best boxer of all time in AUST or close
    4. Why did you pick this great aussie boxers name then tarnish it with this CRAP?
    5. I talk loads of ****....but Im "ashley"....not "Mike tyson" or "Dave Sands"
    6. I thought when you first posted you must be related but then your total lack of respect came to the front.

I think if you are a aussie boxing fan then resign as Dave Sands and sign on as something else :deal:bart

I agree with all of this. :good
Daniel Geale is fighting a guy on PPV as a mainevent who just lost to Garth Wood who everyone is bagging the **** out of Mundine for fighting him later this year. Geale should be heavily criticised for this joke of a fight on PPV just as Mundine gets criticised and rightly so.

You know the old saying mate....styles make fights...Woods is wrong for everybody...hes like a power punching sam soloman who can tackle.

    I know what your saying but in boxing A + B never = C

I must be the only guy that thinks Kariz has a chance of getting the win.

Agreed Francis, but let's not forget that everyone in Australia, including the IBO wanted Geale v Mundine II......oh except Mundine.

...but he had bigger fish to fry didn't he.........like?...........um?

    ...................yeah well!

Geale is famous for losing to choc, green was famous for losing to choc, kariz is famous for being on choc's contender show and losing to choc's future opponent.

Didn't he have a rematch clause in his original contract? Didn't you declare it a 'fact'?

Tasmania didn't turn out to throw their support behind the rematch.

(For the benefit of CHB, who I'm sure wouldn't be reading this post :rofl, when I say Tasmania that is referring to the falliga and barbosa fights not the original mundine vs geale bout. I only point this out as you have been confused in the past and I wouldn't want you to embarrass yourself....again!!!)

Gee, its marvellous having an overseas perspective about the local scene, especially someone whose whole sum of knowledge is one fighter.

Chocs contender show? Thats funny. The man was only the carrot dangled at the end. Looking forward to that blockbuster in December, eh? Will sell as well as the Falliga blockbuster.

Why bother about Tasmania supporting the rematch? There were three other capital cities it would have done bigger numbers in. The first bout did huge numbers, anyone who lived here would know that, I walked through one suburb on fight day and found five pubs that were broadcasting it, I was surprised at the level of interest shown. The venue finder on Fox's website showed ample venues across the country. You'd know this of course living 1000kms away with your first hand experience.

So if its against a local fighter, its your most successful PPV in a long time, and you can afford to give Soliman a second rematch after completely dominating him in a first rematch, wouldn't it make $en$e to have another fight against Geale?

No, lets instead hold an event in Australias least populous state and bring in some crap opponents to sell it, then after we've set it up to fail we can use that as an escape clause.

Your blind adoration of Mundine is sycophantic and more than a little homo-erotic. But please, lecture us more on the state of Australian boxing from your council estate.

Australia is a pretty big place and I'm sure you meant domestic scene. I'm happy to be able to explain boxing to you, despite your 'local' 'advantage' :rofl.

When the treat for the contenders is a bowling trip with mundine I think you can safely say he owned the show :deal.

You make the falliga point and then go on to question why geale never got a rematch? Good one.

Despite you being a 'local' you failed to see the tasmania card as a repeat of the chong nee card. Same entrance by geale/green different reactions from the crowd and public. The end result was no big stadium fight for geale because he can't draw in his own backyard.

5 pubs looking at the upcoming sporting fixtures? Checking a national venue finder? Nice hobbies.

Soliman says he was under the weather, choc gave him a shot at redemption, you begrudge soliman a payday now?

Setting it up to fail in Geale's back yard? :rofl

I'm a mundine fan. The Australian scene is populated by a few excellent fighters and is buoyed on an international scale by very good imports like vic, john, bika etc. One fighter defines boxing in your country and he's known as "the man", danny green isn't on any computer games in the UK or the US we all know who is though.:deal

    Yours sincerely,

    Knifey.

p.s. if you have any questions regarding your domestic (local) scene just shoot me a pm :good, I'm only here to help.

You loved the homo bit? :blood

Good comeback but it smacks of wishful thinking .

I might as well claim that my own "local" area stretches to portugal, domestic was the right word to use :good.

You've been waiting for months? That must be your other hobby, but it's all been laid out for you and if you can't comprehend it just shoot me a pm :good.

The 'hand picked' opposition who just made up the bulk of a televised card yesterday :patsch.

Surely you would have just had to check a 'local' venue finder as that term seems to extend to the whole of Australia :rofl. You have never posted a solid fact.

Where was Soliman 3 held? Melbourne, have a guess why .

It riles you that I don't find you funny - I'm guessing that's what you try and define your personality with. It's certainly not boxing knowledge.

How would you know the reaction from overseas? That's outside of your local area which of course you would render you unable to make a comment on. :nono

I would bet you get paid less than peanuts and to be fair when have you seen a boxing writer who isn't trying to live a fantasy through braver men than themselves, instead of trying to cultivate an image with me as a boxing bigwig just pick up a pair of gloves and head to a gym :good. I don't know why you need me to validate your opinions, drop the delusions of grandeur :hi:.

If you put down the spoons you might be able to type something of substance in reply.

    :hi:
