Mungia would get KTFO against any of the top level competition. Leaves himself wide open for counters. In fact, if he had gotten the fight he wanted against GGG earlier in the year we wouldn't even know his name right now. Amazing how fate can make or break someone's career. Mungia got a huge break by not being allowed to face GGG earlier. Unless they really match him carefully, I think he gets lit up, and soon.
Not really. Everyone knows he's mediocre and is being carried by his weight. He's the type of fighter who will peak young.
Especially those twats on the TV. Munguia has a lot of hype behind him, but everyone agrees that he is no world beater. Hes just a popular fighter, whats wrong with that?
I haven't heard any claims of greatness, this or that, nothing like it. Maybe some do. He seems to make entertaining fights but nobody's saying he stops HW greats of the past or anything overly dramatic like that.
