Mungia vs Benavidez

It would like the face Rosado was left with after GGG was finished with him.

I know a lot of people seem to be writing Benavidez off due to his performance against Plant however he was fighting two men that evening.

Plant and Bayless.

Mungia lacks defense and even if he had the ref on his side it wouldn't matter. Benavidez would destroy him.

And then we'd get to see the shenanigans at the family owned funeral home he'd be transported to.

 

Funny how GGG spent his whole career beating on Mungia types, yet when Benavidez might fight him he is being panned. Canelo has done it many times also, Khan anyone?

I don't think his performance vs Plant was bad. Plant is a decently elusive fighter.

 

I would like to see it.

 

Benny would be foul for this if he ducks Morrell and tries to fight a smaller dude.
Rep will suffer and he will lose respect, he was supposed to be the monster and the anti-duck.

 

I think this is a fun fight. I'd expect Benavidez to win in similar fashion to the Plant fight with Munguia bringing different strengths and weaknesses to Plant. If Benavidez gets past this he would definitely deserve his shot.

 

No interest in seeing this mismatch. I would like to see Munguia-Berlanga instead.
