To be fair, Munguia and Andrade moved up in weight and it´s not as if they took easier fights at 168. Sheerass clearly ducked him tho, and they went after an easier champion.
And Alimkhanuly is doing himself no favors by being so inactive.

Janibek hasn't exactly been fighting the best of the best so it's hard to say how good he is exactly. I won't read too much into the Denzel Bentley fight because everybody has off nights, but I don't rate Janibek too highly.

He has the type of style and the right amount of skills to look invincible against lesser opponents, but he can be a bit careless defensively and that is costly against any highly-skilled operator who can punch. I think Janibek against Adames is 50/50 and he would have been in trouble against the likes of prime Derevyanchenko and Jermall. Nobody else at middleweight is even close to that level at the moment and it's on Janibek to move up if he really wants to chase the big fights instead of talking a big game. Otherwise he'll have to weight for the next batch of prospects/154lb champs to move up and chances are he'd be waiting a while for that.
