Canelo was protected at the beginning of his career? That's funny. Beginning like when he was a teenaged boy or when he was 21-23 fighting Baldomir, Mosley, Mayweather, Trout?

 

That is a common thing in boxing. And Canelo has only had two fights with controversial cards, GGG 1, and Trout, and even the Trout fight despite being a close fight on a round by round basis, can be argued that Canelo landed the best punches in just about every single round.
