Munguia is Clenelo's best win in years and he just got KOd by an undersized tuneup Frenchman

I was objective when the fights were made, I'm objective now.

    Golvokin, Ryder, Charlo, Munguia, Berlanga

It's not exactly a clarion roll call is it not. And the best of those fighters has just been ironed out.

Who in the P4P rankings has fought better competition over the span and has been as dominant?

Bruno went to Munguia’s home town, knocked him out in front of his fans, then got a pic with Chavez. Surprised he didn’t walk off with Munguia’s girl after.

to be serious — shows why you can’t count anyone out. Bruno caught Munguia with an absolutely perfect shot. It happens.

All of them. They're all fighting the best fighters available apart from Nelo.

Is Canelo still being paid $30m a fight?

Are his promoters even making a profit?

Why doesn't they sign (or re-sign) long term deals with him? Is it because they all lose money with Canelo eventually?

Canelo will eventually be forced and humiliated into fighting Benavidez - who I also believe to be vastly over rated.

The doors are closing on Canelo.

American promoters will lose money on him eventually and Turki isn't dumb enough to pay him 2x or 3x what Fury/Usyk/Joshua are getting which is what Canelo is demanding.....

This is the end of Canelo.

    Blame the game.

All those dudes, although not beyond criticism, were considered top10 by most "boxing insiders" at the time Canelo fought them.

The collective rating of Canelo's last 5 opponents was arguably higher then the ratings of the last 5 opponents of the top current fighters.
And YES, that includes the likes of Crawford, Inoue, Davis, etc.

Criticize away but try to show some objectivity.

I'll try to answer your questions and address your comments as best as possible.

    1. Canelo was guaranteed at the very least $35 million to fight Berlanga, he might have also made some money on PPV sales, live gate, etc... but I am not certain.

    2. I do believe PBC made a profit promoting the Canelo/Berlanga event.

    3. Canelo doesn't need to sign long term deals with anyone as he currently earns an excessive amount per fight. The last multiple fight contract he had with PBC was for $100 million for 3 fights.

    4. I don't believe he can be forced to fight anybody he doesn't want to. Due to him having such a big and devoted following, he's in a position to call the shots regarding who he fights, where he fights and how much he makes per fight.

    5. The doors are closing on him just as much as they are closing in on any boxer over the age of 34. The shelf life on boxers is limited especially after mid 30s.

    6. Because of his huge fan base and the money he generates, promoters and sponsors are still eager to work with him. Canelo is one of the few fighters that can tell Turki to shove his money where the sun don't shine. There is a reason why Jake Paul and Crawford want to fight him.

    7. In professional boxing, the end of one's career can come at anytime. Canelo, more than likely has 2 to 3 more huge money fights left in him...

To be fair, Canelo won every round and never let Munguia in that fight. Whereas in this fight Munguia was winning every round and even had his man on the canvas. Looked more like he got drunk on success and took a stray punch he didn't see coming. Totally different fights.

Also, unrelated, but Canelo doesn't get the respect he deserves for fighting guys bigger than him. Munguia and Berlanga had height and reach advantages, Berlanga especially who weighed 200+ pounds. Guy was a heavyweight in there. For comparison, Crawford has never fought anyone with longer arms than him or who outweighed him on fight night.

It is objective to state how poor a poor resume is.

The greatest fighter Canelo ever faced outclassed him and did it rather easily- Mayweather.
And that fight was not even close Canelo was WAY outclassed.
The first GGG fight was a horrible decision and Canelo lost period.
Hell Mayweather was THIRTY SIX years old and GGG was THIRTY FIVE both men were not even in their primes.
