There was a time when they wouldn't allow Jaime Munguia to fight Gennady Golovkin! They said Munguia wouldn't stand a chance. These days, that opinion has absolutely reversed and they say Golovkin couldn't win... (First it was said one is "too young", now the other is "too old")
I thought GGG did enough to eke out the win in the third Canelo match, at worst it was a draw. So I still fully believe that Munguia who was, is and will always been tailor made for GGG, gets a career altering beating even from a soon to be 41 year old Golovkin. So ignore any opinion that states otherwise, those people are unhinged and don't know **** about boxing.
Absolutely. 7-5 Golovkin. GGG clearly won the 1st, then took the 9th through 12th. The 6th and 8th were close, but GGG was more accurate.
Strange things happen to the score cards when you give up the last four rounds. It happend with Oscar and Trinidad. I too gave Golovkin round one as well, i agree with rounds 6 and 8 being real close. All this and i believe GGG wasn't letting his hands go as much as he could have.
I did this thread not to long ago and it was more a split between a g win and a decent fight not many thought a mungia win
If Munguia makes this close I smell another Golden Boy robbery. Would love to see him get broken down and stopped though. Had enough of these binman smashers
