He wouldn't do that poorly, even if he'd require some upset wins. A lot of the guys listed were pretty limited.

Other than Lucas there's no one I'd favor him against, and that includes Littles and Van Horn (if those were the two you were thinking), Littles was good Toney just ruined him and Van Horn wasn't really a SMW but I still wouldn't favor Munguia. I don't rank him at all. He's really not good.

Probably 2-3 wins just on account of being an underdog, but not a hopeless one, against most of the list and favored over Lucas.

Van Horn wasn't exactly anything special himself.

Van Horn had better skill than Munguia. He wasn't great, but he was an above average counterpuncher. Have you ever seen his beat down of Lindell Holmes? That's a more impressive performance than anything Munguia has put forth

Indeed i have and it was by far Van Horn's best performance but Lindell Holmes whilst a good fighter was hardly untouchable and he was also past his best.

BTW i'm not saying Munguia definitely beats Van Horn, he's just one of the few on the list i'd give him a chance.

"I don't rank him at all." Its hard to rank someone when they only have 2 wins in the super middleweight division. You said not at all though? Munguia is ranked #2 by The Ring, ranked #2 by the WBC, ranked #8 by the IBF and ranked #1 by the WBO as a middleweight.

Your post is a little confusing. I'm asking who would Munguia beat. Your saying Lucas and Van Horn would beat him. So in return what your saying is Munguia Would beat Littles, Williams, McClellan, Collins, Brewer , Barkley and Toney? Wow! Not even I gave him a chance against some of your picks.
"He's a total bum " I'm guessing by your post this phrase is the newest slang saying "Munguia is the Man!"

He's actually # 9 in "The Ring" at SMW. He has one win (his last one) over someone that was in the top 10, that includes all divisions he's campaigned at (as far as I'm aware, if I'm wrong advise me). So to be ranked at all let alone so high is quite crazy.

And the question was vs. those specific 90s guys, and no, I do not rank him very highly against those listed. He would IMO be under .500 if that was his course of fights back to back to back.

I didnt see an update on his ranking with The Ring if he is now #9 at SMW.
I dont like to see him ranked so high at SMW so soon if this is the case, although I do think he will work his way up the rankings in SMW.
Personally I like Munguia at Middleweight but I know he has had alot of trouble cutting weight there so he is dabbling in the SMW.
Also it appears his power did carry over from Middleweight so it will be interesting to see who his next fight is.
