I'll hold judgement until we see JM in with the mighty Liam Smith, if he beats Smith then and only then can we really say he is legit.
Spence right now. Munguia ain't ready for a fighter of Spence's caliber. Don't count on this one happening anytime soon.. Munguia has said he's headed to 160 after the Smith fight... which is his true natural weight anyway.
This is a really interesting matchup. Both guys have vicious body attacks. Munguia has better power, but Spence have better defense. If Spence can withstand Munguia's assault early, he can knock Munguia out late. I'd say it's a 55/45 fight with Spence as a slight favorite.
Spence. Easily. I'm not impressed by Munguia at all. I'd take pre-KO6 Pacquiao to beat him at 154. Munguia may very well improve and become a certified bad ass, but at the moment's he's not very impressive.
I voted Spence back then and my opinion is still unchanged. Granted, this is a great fight which could go either way, but at present it is hard to look pass the guy who is clearly more skilled.
