Again, World titles mean **** all. The rankings even less.

If we are going by that logic, if World Titles mean **** all then you only after to do **** all to earn a shot at one.

    Pretty much, yeah.

Its opposition that defines a fighters quality; if he beats a top fighter that happens to be holding an ABC, then fair play to him. Munroe and Booth can make up for their decent (Munroes is better) oppo' by beating these two very good fighters (Nishioka>>>>Molitor IMO)

If they unify against each other, then the winner faces Poonsewat, then I'd be willing to accept them as a 'World champ'.

I'd absolutely love for Munroe to go over there and take that belt home with him like McCullough did all those years ago.

He has done things the hard way, you gotta take your hat off to his grit and determination. He has to be heavy underdog for this and I would be shocked if he won but I'll be rooting for him all the way. Two Tone is a class act.

Fight at the sumo hall? I've been to sumo there a few times before, and find that VERY interesting. All of the seats are on the floor, on cushions, and the box sizes aren't really made for larger people born in the last 30 years or so. Seems like an interesting choice of venue. Let's hope people don't throw the seat cushions into the ring, as is often the tradition at sumo events.

Sumo must be in really bad shape if they're letting boxers onto what is considered sacred ground in the Shinto faith. They don't even let women in the ring to this day.

I'm rooting for Booth big time. I like Munroe but am a big Nishioka fan, will just enjoy that as a neutral, it's sure to be a war once Munroe starts digging the body shots in :yep

Good luck to both Rendall and Jason. If they can both win it will be fabulous for British boxing.

My in-laws live there, and my father-in-law has sumo season tickets so I've been a few times.

I honestly can't see Booth winning a round. He just isn't good enough to mix it with those guys. Marsh who is nowhere near world level was whooping him for much of his last fight. He got out of jail in that fight.

I think Munroe fight will be more competitive but can't see him winning against the classy Nishioka either. Hope I am wrong though.

I'm sure if either of those fighters get a world title, they could coax Bernard Dunne out of retirement.

Class, would love to see a fight over there. Totally different buzz to Europe or the US I would imagine.

I hope he does it. He will be a genuine world champion if he wins and he would have won it abroad. Great guy and attitude for the sport.

Although not at tthe level of a Buchanan, Honeyghan or Stracey away win it would be some achievement :deal
