Last week I saw Munroe - he was doing a promotional campaign for 2012 Olympics, signing postcards, posters having pictures taken ect - anyway I asked him who was next and he said 'It's up to my team but they're talking about either Booth or Arthur'. So what do you think Booth next? Ofcourse I got a signed poster. :smoke
Maloney said on Bunceys show that Booth will now fight Martinez for the European and munroe will fight the winner later in the year. I imagine Munroe will get a 10 rounder in before then.
Munroe would have too much for the waning Booth. Didn't Moloney say he wouldn't ever pit them against each other before. Be a good fight but I think Munroe's work rate would be too much for Booth. Still one of the better domestic fights available to ye. Willie Casey will probably be back into the mix after Rigondeaux and along with Quigg and Frampton, there are some tasty fights to be made between them lads.
at this stage i think munroe fairly comfortable although i don't think it will be a mismatch. i just hope it never gets to the point where booth is used as a stepping stone for the new generation of super bantam prospects
I would of loved it a while back but not now. Why? Cos Jason is coming to end IMO. There both mates and i like both of them and like them to go separate paths. Prime Jason beats Rendall IMO. I like to see Rendall now stay at world class level and Jason go for European title that's alluded him so far in his glittering career.
I agree with this. Before last night I would really have liked to have seen it but booth did look pretty faded in there but showed guts to come through. I really hope he finally gets a european shot now. Likewise with munroe, i hope he can stay around the fringes of world class for his upcoming fights as he put up a really good effort vs an excellent fighter
you know nothing about boxing if you think that!!!!!! it woould be a very close fight with munroe coming forward and outworking booth but 2 smooth would be landing clean counters imo, no chance munroe "slaughters" booth doesn't have the power
I doubt booth will stick around to become a stepping stone, if he beast kiko then he has a chance of getting another world title shot.
