Munyai failed 1st weigh in

    Think by 5oz.....looked ripped and healthy.
    Is this bad news for quigg as he will be coming into the ring a lot heavier than quigg I think!?
    Passed at the 2nd weigh in

    Munyai looked in decent shape, Quigg should win but why is Munyai at 8/1 to win by any method tempting me?

    I can't help thinking Quigg may be in for a hiding here.Anyone who batters Lee Haskins at home is going to cause problems.
    He's been over here a couple of months and loads of rumours saying he looks **** hot coming outta the gyms.
    He deffinately has the size/reach advantage and I always believe a good African fighter is a very dangerous problem if/ when he comes to win.
    I'm personally all over the 8/1 outright and also will be having some of the 25/1 for munyai stoppage rnds 7-12.
    Ridiculous odds in my opinion.

    Got to be honest Munyai looked crap at the second weigh in I thought, that 5 ounces seemed to have a huge effect on him, I realise he can rehydrate and will be the bigger man but if Quigg is positive here I can see him stopping the visitor. If he adopts another Gallagher masterplan ala Salinas and lets the Spider into the fight then he could have problems

    Munyai beat Haskins and Power, but I remember him taking a hiding off Asamanu Akubu. Akubu went on to get schooled by Ricky Burns in his next fight. Munyai is a week old replacement and he failed the first weigh in, so the odds are that for a reason. Munyai might be tricky for a round or two, but Quigg will get to him soon enough. Quigg in 3 rounds no later than 4.

    Eh? Munyai looked SEVERELY dehydrated to me. Healthy???? Nah. Re-hydrating will not make him into some powerful giant, it's too short a time span to recover for me. He looked nervous at the first weigh in like he'd already been trying to lose the weight but couldn't and was worried. Reckon he'll get smashed, Quigg looked in far ruder health to me (although also a bit dehydrated obviously).

    I can't see Munyai stopping Quigg and EVEN if he were to outbox him then they'll be some sort of dodgy decision going against him. I've betted on a Quigg decision as I don't think his power will stop Munyai, but this will be a close fight.
    Quigg struggles with cagey operators as was shown in his fight against Salinos and he didn't like dealing with a snappy jab or quick hands, i expect he'll lose the first 3-4 rounds and then come firing back.
    Can't wait for this one.

    Ok I had it, I took 15/2 Munyai

    I like Quigg and he is rightly the betting favourite but 15/2 just looks too large to me.
    Please feel free to ridicule me later if Quigg knocks the crap out of him...
