I just have a feeling that Wallin is going to outpoint Gassiev.

Yes, it was early in the amateurs, but Wallin had no issue taking flush shots off Joshua. Wallin is technically very sound, and I think he has a good chin. Gassiev has mainly been running through smaller heavyweights, except for Walisch who he still outweighed by some 20 lbs. This time Gassiev is coming in at 98kgs (216lbs), so that means Wallin has height, reach, and a 20lb weight advantage over Gassiev.

It goes the distance with Wallin boxing relatively safely and taking it on the cards. Hopefully it is more exciting than that though. Looking forward to seeing it.

    Gassiev by KO.

Wallin being over rated - ask yourself what is his best win?

If Gassiev is fit he tears through Wallin. It is a KO win under 9 rounds.

One of Usyk's easiest wins against one of Fury's hardest so this fight should tell us everything who is better, Usyk or Fury.

Wallin is conceited and showed unsportsmanlike behavior at the weigh-in, he underestimated Gassiev and Wallin is that weakling who failed to knock out a fighter outside the Top 200, I hope Gassiev will put him to sleep...

The size difference is larger than I thought. Gassiev still the bigger puncher

    This fight will be interesting

I'm honestly surprised at the amount of people picking Gassiev by KO. I'm also surprised by the odds where Gassive is 3-1.

Yes, he's got power but he's unproven at Heavyweight. Not to mention layoffs and injuries. And he's fighting a Top 10 opponent and a southpaw at that.

I think it's a fight that can go either way. Maybe 50-50.

Pretty trash behaviour by Wallin. The f*** is wrong to shake hand with your opponent??? I hope he gets a manner lesson tonight.

He said he was there to fight, not shake hands. It was trash and disrespectful, towards one of the coolest and most respectful guy in the entire Boxing scene.

I'm not expecting Gassiev to even be 70% of what he was due to the inactivity, injuries, weak opposition and Wallin is a bad stylistic match up for him, even more so for his first fight back at the world level in five years.

Wallin was apparently KO'd in the amateurs by Mihai Nistor but his chin does seem sturdy and I know he not only gave AJ two good fights in the amateurs but he was also good enough to spar 200 rounds against him in the gym and he's never been down in the pros AFAIA so he's definitely pretty tough at the very least. But Gassiev is one of the hardest punchers in the sport and if he hasn't made a big mistake by coming in so light at 216 he's very likely the hardest puncher Wallin will have fought as a pro.

    Rubbish

They are about to get in a ring and punch each other in the head

After the fight is the time for a handshake.

Wallin was bantering with him and he went for a handshake to make it friendly unnecessarily. Wallin even said it "I'm not here to be his friend" which is the mentality he went into the Fury fight with.
