So @Drew101 - are we still doing that avatar bet on this? I asked you about terms a while ago but never heard back from you.

I'm on the FB page but I can't find that post, and the link to the stream seems messed up.

 

Time in Adler, Russia (where fight is held; it's near Sochi where the Olympics were held) is 3 hours ahead of GMT (it's 6pm now GMT and 9pm in Adler). Adler is 8 hours ahead of Eastern Time in the USA (1pm now).

So my guess is that if the main event is 10pm or 11pm in Russia, it will be 7pm or 8pm GMT, and 2pm or 3pm Eastern time in the USA.

The tweet from WBSS (#23 of the thread on page 2) seems to imply that the start time in the USA is 2pm (10pm local, 7pm GMT), I think.

Don't feel confident at all picking Gassiev-Dorticos either way. I could see Gassiev's tendency to look for one perfect shot working against him this time; but there are too many other factors in his favor for me to pick against him outright.

Round 3: 10-8 Futa; BIG, WILD LEFT HOOK drops Sarukhanyan. He's legit hurt but Futa is real sloppy as he tries to finish him off. Sarukhanyan regains his legs by the end of the round.

This is going to be a bomb fight and it will be interesting to see how Dorticos whiskers stand up to Gassiev's speed + power. Dorticos did a very impressive job on the slow as treacle Kudryashov, but this is a whole different opponent.
