I don't think he is. The only people he's gone into deep waters with are basic Kalenga and shot Miranda.

 

Gassiev has been looking pretty bulletproof lately... plus he's gonna have homecourt advantage. damn but Dorticos is no laughing matter. I say 55/45 to Gassiev

I think Dorticos could beat Gassiev if he just fights on the back foot, Lebedev did a decent job and I think Dorticos has quicker feet and more power than this version of Lebedev. However I just don’t trust Dorticos he looks like loves a tear up and believes in his power which will play into his downfall as I’m guessing Gassiev has the sturdier chin of the two.

Lebedev got put down and had to stage a second half charge to overtake Kelenga on the cards in order to pull out a clear but competitive win on the cards. Not exactly a walk in the park by any stretch.

Meanwhile, Doritcos stayed upright, dropped and and stopped Youri. Dorticos has the more impressive zult against that common foe, methinks. Plus, Dorticos splattered Kudryashov with one punch, while the flame throwing Durodola couldn't even put him down despite hitting the dude at will. The Cuban's power is legit.

That said, Gassiev still might get to him...But I don't think it's an easy assignment or guaranteed murder.

Although both fighters have some chilling KOs and serious power, there has been a lot Cuban glass shattered over the years. I like the way Gassiev moves and his style better than Dorticos.

 

Dorticos most certainly did not splatter Kudryashov with one punch. He landed that same right hand at the side of his head at least 10 times in the second round alone before the cumulative affect just laid him flat out.

That goes back to Kudryashov's complete lack of defence, and inability to re-group when under fire, instead walking forward slowly as a sitting target believing he will land something huge and end the fight against everyone. A similar thing happened of course against Durrodola.

 

Dorticos was making contact with Kudryashov prior to then, yeah- but he wasn't unloading upon a defenseless automaton in the same way that Durodola was the first time around. Up until the KO, Kudryashov was throwing back and trying to make a fight of it. Then Dorticos landed that final right and dropped him flat. Dorticos was still in control; but it was a heck of a lot more sudden that the Durodola stoppage was.
