I just went back and watched all of Wallisch's stoppage losses on YouTube. All of them were weak, usually with Wallisch eventually succumbing under the pressure and going down on a knee, then getting back up, the opponent flurrying and the ref waving it. Not all that dissimilar from today's stoppage. None of them were all that impressive. His stoppage against Ajagba was ridiculous, easily the worst. The Hammer stoppage was him wilting from gassing more than anything. The Yoka stoppage wasn't very impressive, Yoka's shots were clubbing and not very well placed, another wilting. The best of the lot was Joyce, who dropped him a few times in a slow motion relentless pummelling.

Now, that being said, while his stoppage against Murat wasn't any better than any of those. Murat holds this distinction, that right he dropped Wallisch with, is definitely the heaviest knockdown Michael has suffered as a pro. So even more proof Gassiev is packing dynamite in his fists and his power has carried up.
