    I can't believe Yaegashi and Ioka have both retired, at least once apiece, in the 7½ years since their epic battle, and both are still active in approximate territory on the scales, and we are STILL YET TO HEAR EVEN A WHISPER OF A REMATCH of perhaps the Japanese FOTD. :ohno

    Talk about seven year itches..

    Sadly, I think a rematch wouldn’t go well for Yaegashi at this point. Ioka’s on a hot streak with Salas as his trainer where as Yaegashi is, well, I don’t want to say shot but hasn’t looked too good recently. Let’s see how he does against Mthalane and see if he has anything left in the tank...:(
