After his inspirational performance against GGG, how would the aggressive game Ryota Murata do vs the likes of.. Charlo, Andrade, Munguia, Eubank jr, Adames, Derevyanchenko and the other Kazakh. I'm talking about the Murata that fought GGG, not what might be left of that Murata. If Murata isn't damaged goods, I think he has a great chance vs all of them.
I fancy him against all of them except Charlo and Andrade. Charlo is probably 60-40 to win and Andrade could be a problem due to his slipperiness
I think Derevyanchenko has been largely degraded lately. A more prime version of him I think would beat Murata
Loses to Charlo, Andrade, Munguia. Beats Adames and current Derevyanchenko idk about janibek and eubank jr
Janibek would destroy Murata, I think everybody here except Adames and Jr beats him. Still a good win for GGG though
They’re some mouth-watering fights right there, all of them. I’d make him favourite against Eubank Jr & Adames, 50/50 with Derevyanchenko & slight underdog against the other guys
I'm not even sure Andrade beats him. He could just about stand up to euro level Williams' pressure. He got clocked by Williams on 2 or 3 occasions. Imagine what would happen if Andrade gets tagged by Murata Charlo should have losses to zero camp inactive 35yo Korobov and Deryvachenko. There's arguments to be made that he lost the Trout fight too. Murata has a good chance
I thought so, and I posted in a discord chat around the time, but maybe I'm just imagining things. Either way, it's a damn shame. He was one of my favourites.
