Velasquez went 4-5-2 through his first 11 fights but he's gone 25-1 since then

I had it 6-1 due to Velasquez winning 7.

    Round 7

Same pattern starts the round for a minute, with Akhmadaliev belting Velásquez from mid-range for a bit. Velásquez's pressure is starting to pay off, however, as he finds a home for a left hook on the liver that gets the Uzbek sucking wind and struggling to recover after prodding him into the ropes with a left jab on the chest. Akhmadaliev puts up the goal posts and scissors his legs away, popping high right jabs in his wake.

    10-9 Velásquez

    69-64 Akhmadaliev

Akhmadaliev is going to be seeing Velasques in his dreams for years to come. What a nightmare this must be for him.

Akhmadaliev needs to give him angles, he keeps stepping straight back after getting his combinations off

MJ fought a smart round there, and made up for the holding in my book when he went in at the end.

Luis Pabon is one of the worst refs in history btw, the fact that hes still getting work after his performance in Povetkin vs Wlad is baffling to me

    Round 8

Akhmadaliev circling and knifing out backhanded jabs, then slowing and rattling off combos before picking up the camp stakes again. Velásquez is slugging away, burying shallow right uppercuts into the diaphragm of Akhmadaliev, then soaring up with rights on the brow. The ref keeps interrupting the action whenever Velásquez has momentum going, to his annoyance. Akhmadaliev is mostly controlling the distance with his footwork and jab, and skewering with some lefts on the body, although he strays low and is warned.
