Geale was ordered to fight him, vacated. Sturm was mandated to fight him, paid 500k to the WBA to promote him to Super champ to defer the mando, per Oner who worked with Sturm at the time. Interim WBA champ NJikam first passed on fighting GGG for the vacant regular belt, then gave up his interim belt when ordered to fight him a while later.

That's the 3 top ranked WBA fighters all forfeiting to him. Who else can even make the claim to that belt if they're unwilling to step in the ring with him?

 

Murray is tough and durable but also sadly limited, and would therefore hang around long enough to take a prolonged, one sided beating from GGG.

Quillin has power, yet he lacks a solid ring IQ and would likely exchange with GGG, leading to a relatively quick (3-6 Round) GGG KO.
