Nothing wrong with liking GGG. I have a problem with the HYPE you create. He hasn't done sh*t and you all keep talking about him like he's one of the main stars of the sport. Many posters here, possibly yourself included, genuinely think he beats Ward, Floyd, and S*xy Sergio based on f*ck all. It's boring and disrespectful to the real elite fighters who earned it the hard way.

Also, I watch and enjoy GGG for what he is. A solid up-and-comer with great power who is yet to be tested. I just don't get a hard-on every time I see a fighter with heavy hands.

Okay now we're starting to come to some kinda consensus. I view GGG in very much the same light. For what it's worth I don't think Golovkin has done enough to show he's capable of beating Ward, I think he beats the faded Maravilla of 2014 and FMJ ain't going to happen.

I have the highest respect for the ability of all 3 P4Pers you mentioned, though Sergio is my personal favourite by a country mile (based on style and personality) although he may be the least technically skilled of the 3.

I get excited over new fighters, I'm a big Rigo fan too, looking forward to seeing how Lomachenko and Usyk do outta the ams, big on Lara, Kovalev.

I guess I just don't understand your hostility to folk who get excited over a guy with a big KO record. I don't see how it's disrespectful, specially since I like the accomplished fighters just as much. Why do you care so much what other people think?

You mean when Quillin was a pound and a half over 160 at the weigh in for his fight with Guerrero? It's not like he showed up out of shape. Not an inch of fat on him. He came back within' two hours, made the weight and went on to win. Sounds professional to me. I think Chavez may get "crucified" because of his lack of dedication. Freddie Roach was furious with him for it. Never heard those type of complaints about Quillin :smoke
