This is, unexpectedly, the best Friday Fight Night headliner I've seen in a while. And we're only three rounds in!
Round 4 Murray holding Buckland at bay with an outstretched jab hand, a'la Wladimir Klitscshko. Buckland is stubborn, trying to approach Murray like a submarine beneath his comfortable plane of attack, crouched low with his earmuffs on, and then surfacing when close enough to chance a few shots with his significantly shorter reach. Murray landing countless right hands on the top/back of Buckland's head as a result - not intentional rabbit punching, it's just the only target available to him except when they're trading at close quarters, where Murray is still landing the harder blows to the body. Cracking stuff. 40-36 Murray, but Buckland has made a very good case for himself in the last two.
Is Michael Marsden working with Joe G now or just handing up cos he might have had some of his own lads on...:think
Round 5 Buckland punching from a bit too far away now, trying to jab to the body of Murray. For his part, Murray is keeping calm, playing the catcher in the rye. Buckland is getting outworked but his desperate power punching is moving Murray back a bit. He's able to land a few nice ones while Murray's own hands are moving. Buckland is leaning the top of his head into Murray's chest and then exploding backward with a little spring of his neck and catching Murray with corkscrew right hands to the side of the head. By Jove, Buckland got that round! 49-46 Murray
