Buckland is taking far to many uneccesary shots now...His corner should not watch him take unsustained barrages of shots...:yep

Fighting Murray on the inside with his head down is not the right tactic for Buckland...:yep

He is a tough boy, great effort...:good

Buckland has a hell of a chin and lots of heart, but he surely can't take much more of this.

    Round 8

Murray comes out no-nonsense, pumping a jab in Buck's face. Buck is punching whenever he sees Murray in front of him but Murray is now looking very nimble, slipping and countering. These are not slaps, either. Crushing blows that Buckland is somehow absorbing and inviting more of by pressing forward. He still shows flashes of good handspeed, with his signature move backing out of a clinch and hooking or corkscrewing to the temple of Murray. Murray's energy finally ebbs a bit and they hold for a moment. Murray taps at the gloves of Buckland to ensure they stay up and then drives his right into the flesh above Buck's hip as though it were an anvil. Murray lands a severe combination just before the bell, including a straight right to the chin that has Buckland wobbly.

    79-73 Murray

    Round 9

Buckland comes out with a flashy amateur-style 5 punch combination trying to get Murray's attention. Murray is not taken out of his element, and goes back to his workmanlike countering, fortifying his preferred range with well-timed punches and educated footwork moving in reverse. Double hook from Murray, lands under the bicep of Buckland and then on the chin.

Buckland's best round in a while but still a losing one.

89-82 Murray, but that doesn't tell the tale at all.
