Most people feel Murray beat Martinez so this is the first real step up for GGG I'm interested to see how he looks

its about ****ing time now we finally see GGG against a real opponent a tall strong middleweight where GGG does not have a big weight or height advantage.

This will be a good gage of who GGG really is and wether or not he walks through Martinez like a hot knife through butter

Great test for GGG. He beats Murray then he is definitely going to be confirmed as legit which I think he already is.

I agree but he's getting a title shot and 500k everybody should be willing to get in the ring for that. It's a disgrace that people aren't

For his fights on HBO in the ring Golovkin has weighed 164, 168, 170lbs when exactly did he have these weight advantages? Stevens was a former LHW and SMW by the way.

spittoon rubbish, English fanatics siding with their guy, cant objectively view a fight. It was close but Murray did **** all the last two rds and lost by a round or two period.cant believe the **** I hear on here.

You sure about 164? That seems too low.

  9. Golovkin will knock Murray out in round 3 or 4. Easy win.

good on murray for stepping up, but its a shame cos he`s not gonna win..
i dont see him as elite but he deserves stint as a world champ and is good enuff to deserve and win a version.
just not this one this time.
best of the british bunch of middleweights imo..

GGG the real deal dudes and dont blame him for not taking fights he cant get.

I thought he was that against Proksa but you're right he was 168 in that fight. Martinez is 170, Barker 170 and Geale 174 when they fought eachother. Golovkin is an average sized MW.
Rosado was 175 against Quillin and Angulo 174 against Lara.

Great fight. Looking forward to this one. Credit to both men for stepping into the ring with the top available fighter in the division.

I favor GGG but Murray should by all rights be lineal champ right now, no "B side" here.
