If was even more brutal upon second viewing. I could almost feel the blows myself watching it on the big screen in HD. It should've been stopped sooner, IMO. Murray's got balls the size of small planets and a granite chin to hang in there as long as he did.
It should've been stopped half as soon as it was. Not only was Murray saying he was okay, he was insistent upon being allowed to continue. You got the impression he would have physically attacked Harrison or Pabon had they pulled the plug earlier.
That's the thing. When Murray said beforehand that he genuinely believed he could win, I got the impression from his body language and the conviction in his voice that he genuinely believed it. When he told Pabon not to stop it when he came over to the corner during the interval between the 10th and 1th rounds, he wasn't playing to the camera he actually genuinely meant it. And when he said he drew no comfort from being the first to take Golovkin further than he'd ever been before during a post-fight interview, he was being genuine again. Got a lot of respect for Murray, both for the courage he displayed in the ring on the night and the way he conducted himself afterwards.
"Molodets" is a Russian expression of approval that people say to you which literally means "fine young fellow" but which is used with both ***es to mean "great job!"). Is that what Golovkin means when he calls his opponents ''good boys'', that they're fine young fellows? It would be funny if he just called them that instead. lol ''Martin Muuray is a fine young fellow''
Yeah, someone on here explained it back when the humorous mistranslation first happened (Golovkin didn't realize calling Rosado a "good boy" - his idea of how Molodets would be in English - would come across offensive and condescending) - but Murray deserves even higher praise even though Golovkin meant "Good boy (meant to be "tough kid")" in a respectful way.
We'd make a hell of a ticket, wouldn't we. https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd...._=1431237997_78e7fab4b7454805a46901f1f9b02442
How could anyone misconstrue anything Golovkin said as offensive though? Not with that cheeky face. lol
That's creepy as hell. By the way that pic of me, it was 4 in the morning and my friend was annoying me, so that's my :verysad/:blood look, and its about a year old, my hair is way longer now and I have a light beard. I don't usually look that irritable.:yep
