Murray: Macklin is failed world level fighter on the slide

Murray has never been world level, Macklin is currently a solid top10 contender something Murray cannot lay claim to...

 

He's achieved more than Murray and would still dominate him. Performed better against Sturm before getting beat off a top 5 P4P.

Also, Murray is talking absolute bollocks if he believes Macklin is on the slide. He gave Martinez a lot of trouble and never embarrassed himself. In fact I would argue, though others may disagree, that his performane against Martinez was better than his perfromance against Sturm for large parts.

 

Murray is better than Macklin, more versatile. Can box at range.

 

If Macklin is so ****, why has Murray clearly indicated a reluctance to fight him?

I think that's slightly harsh. He only got beat by the two best Middleweights.

Many think he was unlucky against Sturm, and he was in the fight, and boxed exceedingly well in parts against Martinez.
