Poor mans Ricky Hatton maybe, but Hatton is a world class fighter.

Murray is probably the best lightweight in Europe right now.

Murray looked great, but that stoppage was too early.

I don't know what the game plan was, but he wouldn't have lasted to the later rounds at the rate it was going.

Too early. Only saved Thaxton from the inevitable but that's not the point

Murray was impressive, he has looked better lately after hitting a bit of a flat spot

He was throwing nice combinations there and he lets his punches go really well, he spots the opening and throws, very instinctive..

    Bull**** stoppage.

Thaxton would have probably been stopped but no reason to stop it there. Like others have said, why not stop it in the 2nd when he got wobbled?

Katsidis would be too much for him.

Bit premature but it was inevitable he would have got stopped soon after it no doubt.

In a British title fight one guy gets wobbled and they stop it? Amir Khan was allowed to take punches until he almost had to be peeled off the canvas and that was a non-title fight. I wish referees and judges (O'Connor in particular) wouldn't go into fights already having made up their minds about what's going to happen.

Murray could beat Katsidis, no doubt about it. He's capable of it.

These two guys shouldn't have even fought going by the ref and commentators views.
