No surprise, Murray is just another in a long line of cowards in the Middleweight division that is to scared to fight Golovkin.

I hate hijacking(Not really) threads but when you discount Murray as a GGG opponent for April, where does that leave him? You and Eastcoasts make good points about Murray staying away from GGG so who will realistically be able/willing to fight GGG in April that HBO would approve?

Geale is all I can think of or God forbid Mora. Sort of sucks to be Golovkin.

I bet that poster kas117 will be in the front row. Assuming he does not have an emotional relapse from his Grandfather's molestation.

I figured Mora would've been GGG's opponent in Monte Carlo. Mora's last fight being on HBO is a little unsettling, in terms of a potential match up on HBO in April.
Hassan N'Dam is fighting next week in Spain against Anthony Fitzgerald. I read an article awhile back that N'Dam wanted to fight GGG on HBO in November but needed more time. Maybe that's a possibility for April.
Daniel Geale is currently sitting at #2 on the WBA's latest rankings @160lbs. Golovkin v Geale is a good fight, imo.
Golovkin v Murray is the fight I want to see. It seems like it's going to take Mayweather type money for the WBA mandatory Murray to accept his 3rd shot at a world title...his 2nd title shot on HBO.

Nah. Golovkin needs to do a Clubber Lang type of public pressure by going to some Murray press conference and yelling some insults in broken English.

Don't think so. N'Dam didn't want to give Golovkin the time of day when he was interim WBA champ, called upon to fight Golovkin -twice- who was regular WBA champ. Why would he want to fight him now? Bad decision induced by a concussion suffered in the Quillin fight?

Tom Loeffler released a statement the other day announcing Adama as GGG's opponent in February. In the statement, he also said that N'Dam was offered the fight and turned it down.
N'Dam is with Gary Hyde now. Maybe they figure on getting the fight on HBO in April.?

Murray refused to fight Golovkin, that fight was talked about. Golovkin would love to fight Quillin, Martinez, Barker...............
