Nice for Sergio to fight on home soil for once.

Nice to finally see him fight in his home country.

If one guy is a world traveller it's Maravilla... and he got burned for it multiple times too. He's actually one of the guys to get the "KO the home fighter to get a Draw" treatment once. :yep

    War Maravilla! :ibutt

Fair play to Murray for taking this fight, you'd have to be confident to go to Argentina to fight someone like Martinez. Just can't see how he can win.

barkers straight punches gave martinez allot of issues, murray has a similar style and sergios getting on, hopefully he still has something left.

The only chance Murray has is if Sergio grows old overnight, I don't see what Murray can do that will trouble him?

Murray will no doubt frustrate him, the way that Barker did.

I can see this going the 12, if Murray fights the way he did against Sturm. Flurry away at the gloves and then move out of range.

Was a bit like watching Khan vs Kotelnik all over again.

I think another late stoppage for Sergio.

Martinez vs Golovkin is the fight i wanna see at 160lbs. Silly for Murray to take this fight when he could get hold of the WBA if Golovkin moves up.

Don't see Murray lasting the distance here, just not enough to trouble Martinez in any department. Good luck to the lad though I just feel he gets a lot more praise than he should because of a draw (a loss IMO) to a noticeably faded Sturm.

I know what your saying Jonsey but It is Nice to see Murray wanting to fight the man at his weight and willing to travel rather than wait for someone to move up in weight or vacate to obtain a Belt.

Kudos to Murray for taking this fight.

    :good

Man looking to roll the dice, its to be commended.

Who knows also - Martinez has had this injury to his knee, the Chavez fight was rough (even though he cruised 10 rounds) and a man whos style is based on reflexes and speed cant fight father time forever.

High guard, bobbing head movement coming in and a jab fired with regularity to prevent him from setting will beat Martinez eventually, im convinced of it.

Fundamentals always beats reaction fighting imo.

It is a home coming. Well done to Murray for stepping up to an almost certain loss :)

:-( Maybe he just likes the idea of fighting the best and not just pick pocketing a world title. Its called having a bit of self respect
