Murray vs Macklin should happen, who would win?

Saunders vs Eubank Jr is a bigger fight.

 

If Macklin still has the hunger he brought to the Sturm and Sergio fights he wins. Particularly over 12 round distance as his higher work rate and better engine should overcome the more plodding and one paced Murray. Suspect Mack finishes faster to nick it over the championship rounds.

Harder to call a 10 rounder though as murrays size, strength and sound fundamentals could see him nick it.

 

Its a ****in disgrace that we always miss out on such great fights in boxing. Really hope it happens but wouldn't hold my breath.politics of boxing let u down to often

 

Massive respect to eubank and Saunders for taking this. Does not happen often enough. None of this bollix were u have to wait till both are champions. Just fight and let the best man win
Then if in a few years they are both world champions they can have an even bigger rematch!! Groves an degale being on course to set the example hopefully. But this is a frank ****** card and to often there is pullouts. So I wudnt be surprised I'd someone pulls out. But hopefully not

I reckon Murray wears him down late - Similar to the Moore fight.

Essential that Matt sets a very fast pace to take Murray out of his comfort zone and test his engine....force him to work at a rate he is not comfortable with.

 

To be fair, if theres ANYTHING that Matt always does - other than be in exciting fights - it's set a fast pace. It's like he has only one speed... 100mph!

Agreed. Murray, Macklin and Lee all missed the boat I'm afraid. i've got no interest in seeing them fight each other now. They're bland in comparison to Eubank and Saunders.

 

Imo i think Lee vs Macklin is a more competitive fight than Murray vs either of them.

Murray would Ko both between 6-8.

 

Murray get's over rated because he found Sergio at just the right time.

He's nothing special. Both Lee and Macklin could beat him.
