No chance. Murray fought Sergio just after he had given the best performance of his career against Chavez, for 11 rounds he looked sensational....

No one should take any credit away from Murray's performance against Martinez, it was one of the best performance's of a british fighter in the last decade. Murray got his tactics spot on, he was brilliant...

Macklin only looked good late on tonight... definately a bit of rust there..

i think Murray would be the fairly clear favourite and rightly so...

Macklin was taking some shots earlier which made me think: Ring rust or are his reactions/reflexes going?

If I was him I'd fight another tune-up, then Murray and then Lee in Irelands and cash-out.

/Murray wins easily. Macklin simply isn't very good.

Too soon to tell if Mack is finished at top level. Now if he has a couple more Russ, yebes type performances it will be clear to me that he IS finished at world level and should retire.
But we must take his CHRONIC INACTIVITY into account.
Mack has not been an active boxer for approx 5 years now! FIVE YEARS!

It's not humanly possible to remain sharp at something if you only do it once or twice a year.....

Sturm beat him fairly comfortably imo. The decision has obtained almost mythical status, proof of Teutonic skullduggery, but it was fair.

And Martinez is possibly the most overrated boxer of all time.

Macklin has never been better than average.

Yeah I agree that Martinez (partly shot) made Murray look better than he actually is but I still wouldn't bet against him vs Lee or Macklin

Murray would not lose to Lee, ok...but peak form Macklin beats him for me. Thing is though, will we ever see Macklin in Sturn-form again?
