I have been betting on boxing lately and I'm going to bet on this fight this weekend. I don't follow British boxers too much but it seems like an interesting fight. Thinking about putting $200 on Murray, the favorite. I've heard Mitchell has some personal issues and he is coming off a knockout loss to Katsidis. Also, he hasn't fought in over a year so he could be a little rusty. What do you all think?

Murray fights like he's had a year lay-off anyway.

    Mitchell will run him over.

Does Mitchell have the power to stop Murray...or better yet..does Murray have a good enough chin to last the distance? Seems like Murray will win if it goes the distance due to his punch output and pressure style. Thanks in advance.

It's a pick 'em fight imo.

Wouldn't risk my cash on it.

If I had to predict I'd say Murray late stoppage

Bet to go over 9.5 rounds would be the most likely if your putting big money, as Murray is the favourite but mitchell has a good chance I think also. I think Mitchell will come out more respectful and looking to box and Murray isnt a k.o. artist, but keeps coming forward and likes a fight.

I think your assessment of Mitchell is accurate and is why I favour Murray.

The fight going late is the best bet but it will be quite a short price.

When has Mitchell ever stopped a top-class lightweight, even at domestic level. That's right, he hasn't. Murray has stopped Meager, Thaxton and Mcallister.

None of which are top class light weights.

But were at domestic level, hence why I added that caveat. Murray would have lasted longer but still gotten trounced by Katsidis. It's all about levels.
