He could've been busier, I suppose. Jim Watt only started giving him rounds when he found out German TV had him 2 ahead after 5 or so.

116-112 Sturm, but Murray made a real strong case for himself down the stretch and can hold his head up as not only does he remain technically unbeaten he proved - as he said in the interview afterward - that he belongs at this level. (as did Macklin against Sturm...and if I'm not mistaken he even said the same thing verbatim)

Murray never won that fight. Sky were dreadful from start to finish. Sturm was aggressive and hitting harder and he was looking to finish strong. Murrays performance was weak and no where near what Macklin did. Sturm is the champion and Murray has to give the perception that he has come to take the title. BAcking up, covering up, getting hit repeatedly, sometimes 3 or 4 times in a row, firing back with weak shots is not going to give that impression. I think the judges wanted to screw Sturm over this time.

 

The fact is IB ':yep' emoted to someone calling a brit a bum, calling any boxer a bum is :dead but IB calling them a british bum is like this :twisted:.
