i cant see murray stopping thaxton but see a wide margain to murray on the score cards.

 

Thaxton has gassed in two fights in succession in the mid-late rounds now. I see Murray winning via a late TKO. This must be part of the British undercard for Pavlik-Williams:think. I hope so.

 

Thaxton is 34, nearly 35 now and he's lost 3 of his last 4 fights. The Glover loss in the last fight was especially poor. The other fights have all been at European level, which is about his limit. If Murray is to be a top fighter, he HAS to take Thaxton out. And I can see him doing it inside 4-6 rounds. I hope he can, because then he can move onto the next level. He should be fighting for the European title soon. Though I wouldn't mind seeing him box Limond or Arthur.

Everything points to a Murray win, and that's what I would go along with. However the great thing about Jonno is with that punch, he can never entirely be counted out.
I think Murray grinds him down mid to late rounds though.

Yes defo a pointless fight. The Murray camp even wrote the fight off when Jono lost last time out on the night of Khan Kotelnik.

 

Limond should get his shot. How long does someone have to wait? Its a **** take.

 

Murray by late TKO. Thaxton is passed it sadly, but the one I really want to see Murray have is a fight with Alex Arthur. warren will probably avoid it thouugh and give him some international road sweepers instead before getting him a WBO shot.

this fight has lost its buzz big time. should of happend in january. not sure how the board approved thaxton.

murray in the mid rounds but that in no way reflects the quality of murray who will not get past euro level.

 

So true. Limond is completely ignored in this division yet he gave Khan his toughest fight to date bar Prescott.

 

yea rob im finkin that myself especially after him losing t tom glover whos only just startin out really ...... well i am lookin forward t this fight its gonna be a gud en but .... murry will deff win with TKO in the 5/6 if not he will win for sure with a massive point margin than thaxton ... dont get me wrng thaxton is a good boxer just think he should really hang up his gloves now tbh ...
