Feel sorry for Thaxton, he seems finished, I think Murray will stop him. However, I would LOVE it if he beats Murray.
I'm still excited by this but it has lost its appeal somewhat now that Thaxton has been beat again. Murray should take this mid rounds and if Limmond isn't next in line for a shot then its very very poor
ignored, bypassed? its beyond beleive how limond as been overlooked again,3 years in the top 5or 6 and never fought for the british title disgrace
Bill any word on Ricky Burns getting on here and doing a Q and A similiar to the one Mitchell did mate ? Hope alls well :good
I totally agree...its a complete mystery to me how Thaxton has got a shot at this, even taking into consideration that his last defeat was at 140-145. I honestly think that Limond has the ability to box the **** off a limited Murray.
I don't doubt that, Beeston. Ii still think he'll mopup Thaxton and he'll easilly beat that Mezzache bloke who beat Thaxton. World level will be one step too far for Murray, IMO.
By 'exposed' you mean he'll lose? Not exactly a bold prediction, anybody can see he's not world class, he's a strong plodder. Decent fighter.
You know what I mean- lets not be pedantic about it. I did mean 'soundly whooped' rather than 'technique will be exposed':good.
Yes - the use of General Forum terms wasn't intentional, but like most I have been spending more time on there due to the lack of volume on this forum, which is no doubt due to the lack of boxing action at present. I'd say Murray is a solid enough Euro level fighter, pretty much as Thaxton was at his peak.
if as expected murray wins and wins well, could we see murray vs arthur if it is billed as a world tittle eliminator
Meh, the fight is pretty pointless now. Thaxton is clearly well past it now and I expect Murray to stop him by mid rounds.
