The comments are great. I love what the Dundee s say about Marciano especially Angelo who gives credit to Marciano's defensive ability and offensive reaction. Joe Louis's comments about He or Dempsey could never be certain of beat a guy like Marciano....These days we have large humans fighting but as far as greatness it is hard to find guys as great as Marciano,Louis,Dempsey or Ali

 

I also like Marciano talking about punching upwards and about how he was only dropped by guys smaller than him Moore? Walcott? I thought Walcott was 6' and Moore 5"11 like Rock....but interesting that he says he had the ability to punch upwards

I recall Jess Willard was interviewed, and he spoke warmly of Jack Johnson from a boxing standpoint, saying he was a guy who could do everything well.

Joe Louis saying Max Baer should have been the best of his time.

Nat Fleischer, interestingly, went against his all time rankings by picking both Corbett and Louis over Dempsey.

Walcott already considering Ali to be the GOAT hvywt.

Would love to have seen P Jackson, Langford, Charles, and Liston in the tourney, in place of Willard, J Sharkey, Baer and Braddock. Maybe Wills rather than Schmeling, though that's more debatable.
