Not much in that opening round - probably edged by Gadzhimagomedov.

Gadzhimagomedov is bending and unbending his knees. Mchunu waving his right paw out into Gadzhimagomedov's left, both playing some careful jab-feint patty-cake. Mchunu is measuring, working in with the southpaw jab and then ducking and rolling out the side door. Gadzhimagomedov reaching in with some light body jabs.

Gadzhimagomedov jabbing at arms and air. Mchunu casing him out, not throwing. Pretty dull so far.

edit: exciting last 5 seconds of round two, however! Gadzhimagomedov rocked Mchunu with a 3-2.

"God's a MAGA meat-off" winning R3 with long body jabs.

 

Mchunu can´t get anything going. He is at an obvious reach disadvantage, plus Gadzhimagomedov has the edge in footwork, and he fights tall.

 

6½″ height advantage for Gadzhimagomedov ...can't find a wingspan for him listed anywhere but yeah he's long.

 

His wingspan is definitely longer than his actual height.
I hate sparring guys with such long limbs. It´s like they have whips for arms.

Well, no kidding, English language play by play commentator, of course Lebedev was a little more generously complimentary of Mchunu (a guy he lost to)

 

Halfway, no real urgency yet.

 

Mchunu looks old in the face sitting on his stool.
