Top Rank is more or less destroying boxing in America if you ask me. Of course it's not only top rank, but i think for as long as Bob arum is there is bad for boxing
Don King is the most evil, but he's become obsolete. Bob Arum is currently king of the money-worshiping lobby. But Golden Boy is right behind. Trust me, Golden Boy promos wishes they could be as corrupt as Top Rank and they are trying hard to be so.
On a side note, when watching Fightcamp 360 I was rooting for Froch to punch Kalle's head off his sholders
there shouldn't be a close 2nd based on the promotions current relevance to the sport. Arum blows them all away. Don King is actually the worst promoter that a fighter can sign with, because you won't be fighting, but for the fans it's TR all day.
The worst four: Top Rank (Bob Arum), Don King, Arena (Ahmet Oner) and Universum (Klaus-Peter Kohl). The best four: Frank ******, Goossen, Golden Boy, and Sauerland.
Goossen is shady, but at least he's good to his fighters, gives them opportunities and treats them right. Frank isn't perfect, but he does a good job of developing his fighters into stars and he keeps them active. King has ruined a lot of careers by signing people so other promoters won't get them and then just keeping them inactive. Kohl doesn't give the talented fighters he signs the opportunities to reach their potential, but then won't let them leave. Oner hasn't been around as long, but he's the same as King and Kohl.
Sauerland is ok. I thought he dealt with that ******* Froch quite well when he accused them of dodgy judges for the Kessler fight
