Perfect example of a guy getting what ever he wants out of what someone said.

I thought he was saying that Cintron sucks and just because he wasnt good enough to beat Margo what he is saying has no meaning....Wait...That is what you said :good

I couldnt agree with you any more then had I wrote that post myself.

Hudson, I dont think any elite fighter takes a fight without believing that they possess the necessary tools to win. The interviewers just asked two questions about margo's power and then punches, and cotto politely told them to get the **** over it. If that is all the man is bringing to the table than this is not gonna be as close a fight as many think. He just wanted to get off the subject of Tony's big shots.

    Great vid m8.:good

The left hook, for an orthodox fighter, is the single most destructive punch in the prize ring. FULL STOP :hi:

How funny was it when the commentator called abdullaev, abduli-va. Fookin telepromtin reading clowns. You could just tell from the silence afterwards that he felt like the douche bag that he is. Not that they had much to say anyway.

Cotto reminds me of some sort of Zen-Master type. Like one of those ancient samurai warriors/monks. I wonder if he's ever read "The Art of War"?

Well that's debatable. For an orthodox fighter the most powerful punch should be the right hand since it comes from a further back position. Which means you can both create more momentum with it before it lands, and you can put more of your body weight behind it.

Its not that Cotto doesn't believe he is as good as he is, its just that he doesn't get caught up in any kind of hype by his promotor, HBO, his team or himself. He means business, he fights "who gets put in front of him" without complaining or running his mouth to anyone. As of right now that formula has worked for him just fine as he has taken care of business with his two fists that seem to rearrange everyones faces.

Thats until you don't see the lefthook until its in your face. The Left hook is the shortest power punch. I vote left hook.

It all depends on a boxers body frame and boxing style. The left hook can be a really really great aset because its very strong but mechanically the right hand should be the strongest but again it depends on the fighter, you can time opponents really well and it basically keeps opponents a hell of a lot more honest. Cotto is a compact dude, he works well with the left hook. But you don't see tall and lanky armed guys raping with a well schooled left hook, they usually bank on their long ass right hand. Me personally I'd rather have an A grade left hook and B grade right hand than a B grade left hook and an A grade right hand.
