For others who might be interested, I'm still debating over whether it's a Top 25, 35, or 50. I was originally thinking 50, but that might be tricky. I'm not sure that I can list a Top 50 favorite boxers. I can list off 10-15 without much issue, and I know if I gave it some thought, I could tag more names on as I move along, but I'm not sure at what point it becomes "overwhelming". My thinking is it comes before 50. But I won't be participating in any case. So right now we have one shout out for 35? Does anyone else have insight to offer here? I may just go with whichever option has the most "votes" when I start the Survey in a couple of nights.
I'd go with 25 for the lists and then based on the number of lists you received you could probably aggregate a top 35 from it if you still wanted to.
I agree; 50 is a lot. 25 seems more doable, and can be extrapolated further based on the total number of entrants across the board.
I actually THINK I want to make the final product a Top 100 - as I assume there will be enough variety that it should easily work, even if we do use a Top 25 as the base. So that's two votes for Top 25, and one for 35. Whatever's highest after I finish my Bridgerweight rant will be what I roll with.
I like the idea of 35 favourites, Rum. Sounds like it could make for a great thread and an even better video.
25 is more reasonable but if you want to do top 100 35 will give you more variety FYI 10 best p4p each decade sounds awesome too
Pending any further input in the next 24-48 hours (give or take), I may just split the difference and make it an even 30.
I will absolutely do this at some point. It's a theme I've explored before that I've always found fascinating. Another one I will definitely do at some point, is "Coolest Boxing Nicknames". I've always enjoyed what I consider "cool" monikers.
