Prime Bennie would win a tough decision over Mustafa, otherwise Mustafa would win a hardfought affair.

Briscoe, as usual, coming in behind the Jab, thats is going to spell trouble for Hamsho, as they close Bennie is going to own the Middle Ground, ramming in that Jab, regarding the Jab bennie once said he "Äimed for the back of the head...through the front.."it would find a target on the fairly static upper body Mustafa, in fact Bennie is probably the better defensive fighter with his "Philly Roll" as he seeks to avoid incoming, usually when the smoke clears..theirs Bennie Chugging forward as ever, Mustafa is tough for sure, But whats Bennie...
If we are talking about Bennie circa the Monzon title Shot he has very good stamina, he will not fade, he was one-paced, but it was a good pace, and Mustafa is not a Sibbo, or Nesmith type singe shot Hitter, he Tended to Bully and wear down opponents, I think he will have his work cut out with Bad Bennie, Briscoe on points, and who knows, Minter shook Hamsho to his boots with a shot, if Hamsho tries for a war of Attrition..he might be the one who cracks..i Like Bennie, and the more i think about it...the more like him in this match. Triple B for me.

Something else to consider is that he was always burrowing in with that "Briscoe Trot," looking to bury that hook to the body (an excellent punch to use against a lefty), bypassing Mustafa's chin.

I don't think either could hurt the other, but I believe this comes down to the better boxer with superior punching technique, and BBB was the first to stop southpaw Chiaverini (and in Tony's own KC at that). He might carve Hamsho up like Hagler did in Chicago.

Antuofermo showed that Briscoe could be defeated by means other than stylish boxing when Bennie took him on immediately after Valdez III, but Briscoe was already on the slide, and Vito was a much better defensive fighter than Mustafa (in fact, a clear level above Hamsho when at his very best in general).

    Briscoe

Big hitter. Equally good if not better chin. Much better defensively. Worked both the body and the head. Sharper.

Briscoe all the way. He'd have Hamsho on the back foot all night. Similar to Curtis Parker fight but Briscoe is in a higher class than Parker and hit alot harder. BTW Parker won that first fight and second should have been a draw.
Over 10 Briscoe UD perhaps a TKO

I didn't have too much of an issue with the second fight, but you are right, Parker was robbed blind in that first fight.

Briscoe by moderately close decision in a brutal, sometimes ugly, fight.

I just think Briscoe was better, he beats up Hamsho
