Has this ever happened? CAN this happen?

I know a mutual ten count KO is theoretically possible (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bIFGxHN374s) just extraordinarily rare.

But do the rules allow for there to be a mutual TKO? Say the referee decides both fighters are spent and decides to retire both simultaneously resulting in a TKO draw. Would this be allowed or would the referee always have to try and choose the worse off fighter to designate as the loser?

Prince Charles Williams vs Merqui Sosa I. Both fighters were ruled to be unable to continue, and the fight was listed as a draw.

No worries. Check out of the fight if you get a chance. It's just brutal. Rematch was, as well.
