Another Ukrainian MW turns pro this time it's WSB veteran Sergey Derevyanchenko who went 23-1 during three seasons in the organization and was individual MW Champion for season 1 and 2. Still not clear about who he signed with but he's supposed to be debuting next month on a NBC card. He's a very physically strong, technically sound, complete, aggressive boxer/puncher. He'll make a successful pro and be a very nice addition to the division.

Here he is against Mursalov in a 7 round war for the season 2 MW title where Derevyanchenko gets cut pretty bad is bleeding alot and gets knocked down for the only time in his 24 fight WSB career.

wow didnt know if he would ever turn pro, given his age and his ridiculously vast WSB experince they will definetly be moving him alone very fast

I honestly believe he could beat up Maksym Bursak or a fringe contender inside the top 20 like that right now in his debut. Hopefully they move him along quickly. Could be interesting if him and Khytrov have a grudge match in the future.

    YES!!!

I am fuccking glad!! I really wanted him to turn pro! I didn't think he would turn pro.
I would be confused if he didn't move pretty fast i.e big world contender within 8 fights at most.
I think after 5 fights he should be a top world contender.

He is tough as nails and will be a good addition for the next few years until he slides.

true, with almost 25 WSB fights under his belt he should have an 8 rounder against a decent opponent for his debut

I did have Castano winning 3-2 but it was a very close fight. Mytrofanov got robbed against him and won 4-1 imo, 3-2 at the very worst, in an amazing fight. Both were actually. Hope Mytrofanov goes pro at some point but he's only 23 or 24 so there is time.

i think Mytrofanov should stay amateur, middleweight is starting to look open for him, with Murata, Khytrov, Florentino , Ogogo turning over. Quigley going pro too all thats left in the middleweight division is Fowler, Alimkhanuly and Chebatarov and for some reason i cant see Fowler staying pro until the next olympics

which mean he would only have to compete with Alimkhunuly and Chebatarov for a gold medel providing some young superstar doesnt appear in the next two years

Ya fighting at the next Olympics and turning pro at 25/26 wouldn't be a problem although his style is way more suited for pro boxing. He's a killer.

ya but turning pro with a medel will put a lot more money in his pocket, and with Quigley turning pro and I can see Fowler going pro to his got a great chance

That's true it would be nice to see him get the profile and money right from the start of his career. I love his style but he also grew up in an orphanage so its hard not to root for him.

I've never sat down to actually analyse Fowler.

I hope Mytrofanov turns pro now, but starts his career a lot slower, I think he'd need that.
Even if he turns pro after 2016, I want him to pace himself a bit.

Him and Quigley are huge MW's with their height and frame. I really like Quigley he just needs to use that size and power a little more and become slightly more of a boxer/puncher than boxer, he relies on his footwork to control range a bit too much.

Quigley has said that he always tries to adapt to who his fighting and he sees himself as a universal boxer meaning he can box in what ever way he want to for a certain fight. i think Quigley will make a great pro, but the Iriish prospect im really excited about is Joe Ward his made for the pros, he could punch through a wall but is also great technically and already boxes like a pro. If he wasnt cheated out of going to the olympics theres a good chance he could have won it
