You use a past prime Hagler as an example? :patsch Good lord you people are hilarious. Prime Hagler knockes Glass Jaw Roy out cold. Who did Roy fight that was even close to Hagler at Middleweight?

I havent seen enough of Monzon but Id fancy Jones & Hagler to get past Hopkins in a tough fight.

I assume we are talking 12 rds since RJJ & B-Hop have never did 15 ?

Im gonna make a point of viewing Monzon as much as possible as soon as Im done with Armstrong & Charles.

    :good

It was the end of Hagler's career yet you try and use it as an example. Jones would get DESTROYED by Hagler. Hagler would pressure Jones from the start and drown that Glass Jawed fraud.

If you ask how we rank these 4 at 160 I would go 1. MONZON 2. HAGLER with JONES & HOPKINS about even with a slight lead to Jones because he won their match up. Allthough I think Hopkins is more acomplished at the weight than Jones is.
When I saw the names i naturly said to my self that Monzon would win, but after stoping to think about it I think Jones would come out on top. I think his speed would preveil over the better boxing skills of the rest. I think Hagler being the smallest would come out on the bottom.

It's ok that you're a hater but Hagler simply chose to retire but he still had plenty left in him to fight. Jones does very well with pressure and his chin at Middleweight was solid.

    What do you expect ?

You're arguing with a known hater, and occasional troll.

I actually meant Monzon would have problems landing his jab.

If you say he didn't drain past his limit, and could make the weight without a problem even in Monzon's time, I'll believe you. I previously thought he'd have a lot of trouble doing so.

While I regard Hagler to be the better and greater fighter, styles make fights, and I think Hopkins' movement, minimalist approach, reach and ring generalship favors him to win a close decision.

It was worth trying to have an intelligent arguement with him. But he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. It's like he knows two words: Glass Jaw and a few emoticons.
