MW Tournament (Round 1): Florentino Fernandez vs Iran Barkley

Now that's a fight!

Short and sweet!

Barkley is the bigger man and maybe a little more durable.

I'll go with Barkley by KO.

Although a case can be made for Fernandez.

 

Shiiiiit...both susceptible for an early stoppage.

I'll pick Barkley aswell.

 

Could go either way, an unpredictable fight. I don't see why Frenandez wouldn't have the upper hand. The only reason I would go with Barkley would be because he is the bigger and sronger man, but ruling out a huge onsluaught which slays Fernandez, I'd be picking Fernandez.

Barkley, what would he have been without hearns eh?

he'd have been a trial horse at mw and certainly would never have been lhw champ (anyone really think he'd have beaten hill?)

Then again Hearns was there, so he did smash hearns into oblivion and did outpoint the lhw king later in his career.

I favour Brakley to give more than Fernandez could handle.
