I hope you'll allow me to answer your question with a question of my own.

When has Vitali EVER shown the signs of panic?

If your comparing two people, the one who has never shown the negative trait is going to look better than the person who used to show the trait but hasn't lately, right?

Who do you want babysitting your kids? The guy who has never killed anyone, or the guy who hasn't killed anyone since 07?

Oh and the answer to your question is never. I specifically said in my post his panics were pre-prime.

    Nice list magoo, here's mine...

    1. Lennox Lewis ('97 McCall II to '00 Tua)

    2. Muhammad Ali ('65 Patterson to '67 Folley)

    3. Mike Tyson ('86 Ribalta to '88 Spinks)

    4. Riddick Bowe ('92 Holy to '93 Holy II)

    5. Evander Holyfield ('90 Buster to '93 Bowe II)*

    6. Wlad Klitschko ('06 Byrd II to '11 Haye)**

    7. Vitali Klitschko ('01 Purrity to '04 Williams)

    8. George Foreman ('73 Frazier I to '74 Ali)

    9. Larry Holmes ('78 Shavers I to '82 Cobb)

    10. Joe Frazier ('68 Mathis to '71 Ali I)

*Version from Bowe II would be separately rated #3.

**Might still be Peak, performance in Shot Mormeck fight was inconclusive.

Thanks for the positive feedback, I took a long time figuring it out. :good

I do want to add though as another note, Holmes may have been Peak again, one last time, against Witherspoon, because he turned back time slightly & got into visibly (performance wise & by physical appearance) top condition again.

How is Vitali supposed to beat Holmes? I can see a case for wlad because he has an atomic right hand, but vitali is a curious pick for me kally

    Yeah your probably right.

That's a pretty good list Kalasinn. Bowe can be hard to place, some nights he looked amazing and other nights maybe not so much. It's always good to see a big man so good on the inside as he was tho.

Well you see Tommy, it's not really about an absolute conviction of beating the men lower on the list, it's more about overall performance against the others. By this I mean it's decided regarding the percentages odds of victory I assign to each fighter against each other, & thus the total points they earn depending on those odds. I think Vitali-Holmes is pretty much 50-50, but Vitali performs better, win or lose, against Lewis, Ali, Tyson, Bowe, Wlad & Frazier. Whereas Holmes I have performing better against Foreman & Holy.

I never made a h2h list before, but off the top of my head maybe something like

    1. Ali
    2. Holmes
    3. Tyson
    4. Vitali
    5. Lewis
    6. Holyfield
    7. Foreman
    8. Frazier
    9. Wlad
    10. Bowe

Holmes may seem high to most, but I think he does very well head to head. Great chin, great recovery, good size, solid skills. Maybe lacks power compared to the others but it's my list and that's my choice haha. Lewis prolly seems low, but it's the 2 knockouts. I know he has a great chin and those were very hard punches, but they happened and it has to be considered.
