I see a Peak Riddick as a H2H Monster, it's a real shame he ate himself away from Greatness like a glutton, turning his Training Camps into Fat Camps. :verysad

i think prime Vitaly takes him into the trenches during the championship rounds and finishes him. Vitali is quite a bit stronger and is just plain mean. He really likes to fight.

I don't like to do head to head, too difficult.

I'll throw you 10 names(not in any order) head to head

    Joe Louis
    Wladimir Klitschko
    Sonny Liston
    George Foreman

He may be stronger, but Wlad holds more important advantages in speed, technique, and power. Wlad would outbox Vitali, and quite frankly bust him up pretty good. I see it as a clear unanimous decision win for Wlad. Wlad is too cagey, smart to get caught late by Vitali. He also has the power and finishing skills to not only rip up Vitali's face, but put him on the floor. Vitali's defense(especially that low left) has always left him prone to being caught by well timed punchers like Wlad.

I don't see much Liston can do in a h2h sense that Vitali can't do better

    Could be.

Firstly, rewind a bit and watch Vitali of old, how he controlled the action with his own strength and power before he became an old arm-puncher. He used to put a lot of pressure on other fighters, moreso than Wlad does on his best day.

Secondly, big brother always out psyches little brother. It is very obvious in interviews that Wlad idolizes and most likely fears Vitali. He readily admits that Vitali is stronger and even tougher. If they weren't relations, I may agree with you.

Overall I strongly agree with this statement, but I do think Liston has more power when comparing their best bombs & jabs. However, VK of course had advantages in Chin, Stamina, Durability, Workrate, Combination Punching, & obviously Size. Heart I think is equal, & so is their Reach if Sonny's was measured properly with no mythical exaggeration.
