Yeah an early 130 Mayweather loved to implement the left jab into his game (Which IMO is one of the best punches in pro boxing). Good footwork and head movement I see you love using the left straight to the body (What Mayweather also loves to do) More lateral movement, try to flow a bit more in your attacks. You're boxing too tight. But all in all, good boxing.
:rofl I just don't see many 130 pounders/prospects using this tool. It's one of the best punches in boxing and yet they don't use it. Mayweather was a master at it. Great.
tres bonnes techniques de boxe! You have a good stance and do not over extend too much when throwing your shots. I would like to see you attack the body more with both hands. Stay focused and dedicated mon ami.
Just my humble opinion. Pros: Good snap on your punches and an excellent jab. You were controlling space and popping that left in there nicely. The left hooks to the body were impressive as well. I liked your physical presence in the ring, you seem calm and collected. You kept your guard tight while cutting off the ring and working the jab. Put in solid work when you had him on the ropes, made him pay a price for being there. Cons: Sometimes you get caught up in the fight and were winging your punches a bit. Got you caught with some clean counter punches. Careful with those, they can hurt you. You're giving up your defensive position as well, and can end up a bit off balance. I thought you got away from your jab at times as well. Advice: Work off your jab more. It's excellent in my opinion and should be setting up your other punches primarily. (Mix in the straight right to keep em honest, you did that) Thought you could have doubled it up from time to time and punished your opponent a bit more with it. Overall: Excellent work. I like your style and felt you had solid fundamentals. Continue to build off that jab, it will open a lot of doors in the ring for you. Continue to stay clean and devoted to the sport. Eat right man and don't rely on your youth to burn **** off, makes a huge difference.
